Der erste Teil dieses eintägigen Workshops widmet sich einem Ericksonisch-inspirierten Utilisationsansatz für Kinder, der die Notwendigkeit betont, die Kindesentwicklung zu verstehen (z.B. dass Kinder keine kleinen Erwachsenen sind und dass es Unterschiede zwischen 4-jährigen, 8-jährigen und 12-jährigen Kindern gibt) und dass unsere Wortwahl und das Pacing und Leading unserer Sprache dementsprechend anzupassen sind. This workshop will provide a powerpoint presentation reviewing principles and hypnotherapeutic approaches to management of recurrent, chronic, or constant, so-called "Chronic Daily" Headaches. Juvenile Migraine and tension headaches are considered the most common chronic conditions in childhood, affecting between 15-20% of all children. Headaches often result in considerable morbidity in children, including many days missed from school and especially from sports and other activities, and visits to the physicians office and/or Urgent Care or Emergency Room for care. Results of research demonstrating the short term and enduring efficacy of hypnosis for headache will be described, and a utilization (Ericksonian) approach will be described in detail and illustrated through case presentations and videos illustrating hypnosis with young people with migraine and chronic daily headache. Part one will provide a powerpoint presentation describing principles and approaches to evaluation and hypnotherapeutic ingredients in management for common disorders of elimination, notably nocturnal enuresis and encopresis. Case examples and VIDEO will illustrate the practical value of spontaneous, Ericksonian approaches as well as more formal training in self-hypnosis skills. The importance of the respective roles of the child, the clinician/therapist (Coach!), and parent(s) for success will be discussed.
