Peter Levine offers a live demo session for which he selected "Presence and Connection: The mutual energy of SE" as a working title. After the demo, Peter Levine and Marianne Bentzen will review and discuss the session from different points of view - thus making practical work understandable from the theoretical perspective and vice versa. Their particular focus will be on the different levels of the "human relationship and trust-building" perspective. "Human relationship and basic trust" seems to be crucial for resolving trauma and restoring goodness in the world - and we believe that a live SE session in this context would be an essential, fundamental piece of work. This is especially the point when it comes to embodied safety and security. In addition, Stephen Porges will participate in the discussion via skype. Stephen will elaborate and enrich the theoretical-practical discussion with insights and perspectives from his research on Polyvagal Theory. Marianne Bentzen will deepen and extend the scope of the discussion by the perspective of the neuroaffective psychotherapy approach.
