Integrating the Ericksonian approach and Taoism to transform obstacles into resources

In book of Tao Te Ching, Lao Tze said

"The best quality of man is like water.
Water benefits all things,
and does not compete with them,
flows in places that others dislike.
Therefore it is in harmony with the Way".

Therapists deal with clients' problems and issues everyday. To utilize what clients brought to the sessions and transform them into resource is the art of psychotherapy. Milton Erickson is the master of the art of psychotherapy. Ericksonian approach and Taoism philosophy both emphasize utilization.

In this keynote, we will learn the integrated experiential approach, and learn to be like water to deal with all sorts of challenge and obstacles. We will learn to hold "Ying" and "Yang", hold the opposite, and allow the creativity to flow through us. Therefore, we can discover infinite possibilities and tailored solutions for each unique individual.

German language is about the precision of proper naming the experiences, Chinese language is about poetic feelings and relative context. Combined both, you will have abundant colors in your palette to deal with obstacles.
